tis the season to be jolly

I've always enjoy this period of the year; the weather is cooling down, pretty christmas decorations are up in the malls, sales, yummy christmas log cakes, jazzy christmas carols, everything is just perfect.

This year is a little special, the babies' birthdays are all just around the corner (K's two weeks before, T's and H's is 5 & 10 days after Christmas day) which means we are going to have a string of celebrations all lined up starting from mid December.

Every year, I have this headache of getting the right christmas gifts. And because of that, I restrict my giftlist to my very close friends only (I managed to subtly withdrew myself from exchanges with my colleagues with that giving for the sake of giving kind of mentality). I want to give my friends something they loves, I do not want to contribute to their junkyards with useless stuff. In the event I cannot find anything nice, gourmet chocolates or organic foodstuff is always well received.

Speaking of this, I've found the perfect gift for my bestest gal pal J. I got my sis to bring it back during her last conference in US. I cannot contain my excitment and I just cant wait to see her expressions when she opens the box *giggles*
