oatmeal chocolate chips cookies

I'm often attracted to E's bsking, she always bakes the stuff that I would love to bake (and eat) too. So inspirational : )

In one of her recent entries, she made oatmeal raisin cookies. I have never made anything with oatmeal so I thought this is a good chance. I always have the impression that oatmeal cookies will turn out very crispy but somehow mine is more chewy. E said that I can make them crispier by baking them longer. Overall, it is a nice cookies but next time, I'll stick to the dried fruits combi, chocolate chips are really meant for the good old chocolate chip cookies.
