frog the frills


I started on this project a while back, it was one of the hottest winter patterns and I have seen so many different versions of it sprouting in blog world. Attracted by its frilly ends, I went ahead even though it wasn't a practical design.

And so, 3 weeks later, short of a sleeve, it looks like something a flower pixie would wear. It is still cute but no way I or anyone for that matter will wear it. The final decision is to recycle the yarn into something wearable.

Another reason is also partly the color isnt my usual choice of colors. That is the problem of buying online, sometimes, what you see is not what you will get, especially the colors appearing on different monitor can be very different.

I think the colour would look good on something else but the design is quite poufy....

Haha @flower pixie. It reminds me of the elves and pixies in Enid Blyton's books.
